Seguridad del Paciente - Patient Safety

This program includes three levels of training:

• Introductory Level. Training courses on basic aspects of PS and courses on the safe use of medications, each approximately 30 hours in length, offered for healthcare professionals. These courses are currently being offered at the level of each Autonomous Community.
• Expert Level. Including:

  Online patient safety improvement and risk management course  (120 hours).

  Online patient safety and care quality course: preventing healthcare-associated adverse effects. Trainer training course (50 hours).

  Online risk management course: elements, phases and methodology (20 hours).

  Online proactive risk analysis (prevention) and management course; process, tools and practical cases (20 hours).

  Online reactive risk analysis (after the fact) and management course: root cause analysis, help tools and practical cases (20 hours).

  Online heathcare risk indicator course: analysis of control data, tools, examples and practical cases (20 hours).

• Master Level. Interuniversity Master’s in Patient Safety and Care Quality (60 ECTS credits).
