Seguridad del Paciente - Patient Safety

On October 1-2, the first edition of the trainer training workshop in the 5 moments for hand hygiene (HH) promoted by the WHO was held. This workshop was organized by the Quality Agency at the suggestion of the National Health System Hand Hygiene Campaign coordinating group.

A total of 28 professionals involved in implementing programs and providing HH training at healthcare centers have been selected by the Autonomous Communities to become facilitators of the online spread of specific training measures on HH sharing some common criteria.

This workshop afforded the possibility of acquiring knowledge and skills for the implementation of the five moments for HH and also the sharing of experiences and the mutual knowledge of professionals who are carrying out their work in different Autonomous Communities in different healthcare fields.
